I created Color Explorers as a way to source inspiration. These color palettes are a great way to channel my photography into my designs. Color is a powerful tool that often goes underestimated. The right palette choice from the beginning can really bring a project together.

I had the pleasure of teaming up with We Rate Dogs to create a line of tees for their online store. It's been a really great experience to create designs for such a large community and learn from their collective direction. Since the creation of their online store, We Rate Dogs has been featured on sites such as College Humor, CNBC, Esquire and Washington Post. Working with new clients is always a blast, but even more-so when that client's niche is dogs.
The Enhanced Service Pharmacy Alliance (ESPhA) gave me the great opportunity to help brand and create assets for their website. I designed their logo to feature a subtle, increasing parabola within a medical cross to represent their measurable, pharmaceutical data.
The yellow and gray tones symbolize innovation and balance. I chose various weights of Montserrat as the font for a clean and easy-to-read font.
Videography is one of my oldest hobbies. I've had the pleasure to work with a ton of great artists to help bring their vision to life. I was lucky enough to have worked on two incredible short films, with one being featured in the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
When I'm not behind a DSLR, I love manning my DJI Phantom 4 quadcopter in the air. I love the ability to capture a whole new perspective from environments I've passed thousands of times before.
Animations are absolutely one of my favorite things to create. It's one thing to create a beautiful illustration. It takes a completely different mindset to set your document up from beginning for moving parts and special effects.
I can honestly say that most of my design experience is self-taught, especially in the animation category. My university did not specialize in much more than layout design and photography, so I found importance early on in doing work outside of the classroom.
There is much to learn, but I'm happy with all that I've accomplished so far and I can't wait to see what new animation styles I'm able to tackle next.
The best part of working with different clients is the opportunity to create something unique and fresh. In the past, I've worked with brands that brewed amazing coffee, others that sold outer-wear and a fairly popular Twitter account that rates dog photos.
I've been so incredibly fortunate to have my work seen by millions of people on several different platforms. If you had asked me 5 years ago (and trust me, many did) where I thought I'd be now, I would have never imagined it would be 2,000 miles away from home, eating avocado toast and drinking La Croix water.
